Very cool early YBL-622 Yeo model, in very good used condition. Some wear on the contact points and cosmetically. Very big and focused sound, easy to play and a unique designed wrap. I've always had a soft spot for these bass trombones and I think they are one of the most versatile models in production. Not to be confused with the Xeno YBL-822, this is the original version. Their warm radiating sound and excellent intonation help musicians connect with audiences, thus making Schagerl trombones a great performance asset. In other word Schagerl trombones help the musician share good vibrations. And isn't this what good music is all about. The brass instrument’s sound really comes solely from the vibration of the bell. Notice that I didn’t say the sound comes out the end of the bell, but rather from the vibration of the bell. The importance of the bell is demonstrated by the fact that when purchasing a professional, custom made, brass instrument the player will usually be given a choice as to the type of material used to make the bell download. This model features a 7 3/8" yellow brass bell and a .500" lightweight brass slide.
