This course is NOT for the casual viewer. It would not only not do productive work, but it would require work FROM the piston. The concept of matter waves, i.e. particles having wave properties, seems to be supported by numerous experiments, however it is obvious that it is in fact inconsistent and flawed as a physical theory. It attempts to describe and account for the properties of molecules and atoms and their constituents— electrons, protons, neutrons, and other more esoteric particles such as quarks and gluons.
